Larne Traders Forum seeks to strengthen the position of traders and businesses in Larne and to enhance the image of the town.
 
Membership

Applications for membership are invited from all retailers and businesses in the Borough of Larne. The Forum meets monthly to provide a networking opportunity and to ensure that members are up to date with local activities and initiatives. The meetings also provide an opportunity for members to listen to guest speakers and to debate issues of common interest.

How safe are you on our roads?
Larne District Policing Partnership is holding a themed meeting in public on Thursday 3 March at 7.15 pm at Drumalis Conference Centre, Glenarm Road, Larne. Experts from the PSNI, Road Safety and others will give a presentation and then answer questions. Everyone is welcome to come along and give views on road safety and put forward any questions they may have. “Towns facing financial pressures are turning to internet projects as a means of maintaining high levels of service delivery and at the same time reducing their costs.”
TowTalk is a national network of town centre web sites offering information for residents, shoppers and visitors. There are currently over 160 towns and cities involved in the Project, which has been supported in England by the regional development agencies, the DTi and the European Regional Development Fund. New towns are joining the network and new features are being added every month. Police Street Surgeries
These surgeries continue to be a popular way for members of the public to meet neighbourhood officers and raise issues relating to community safety, crime, disorder and other matters in a familiar environment. Street surgeries have recently been held in Waterfoot and Portstewart lasting one to two hours. Would they be useful here?
